A few Updates & Green Mountain Open Results

We had a great time last weekend at the Green Mountain Open in Rutland, Vermont. A big thanks to Matthew Neronsky and his instructor Huzon Alexander for inviting us to attend. Sales were good and we sold a surprising number of sweatshirts... and it wasn't even cold in the gymnasium! This tournament went very well, especially considering it was a first year event. Good attendance and great people. Honestly, I can't recall ever attending a tournament where everyone was so happy. That made for a great day for everyone.

The pushup contest went well and we had some new participants as well as new records. A big shout out to Theresa for breaking the 50 pushup mark for her first time and winning the Women's division. I know she's on the hunt for 60, and I think it's going to happen soon!

congratulations to all of the pushup challenge participants! congratulations to all of the pushup challenge participants! The podcast is moving along well. We have several interviews ready to go, but we're looking for more guests. If you or someone you know would be a good interview, please fill out the guest form - http://www.whistlekickmartialartsradio.com/guest-martial-arts-podcast/ We've also started on some new artwork to take the place of these two initial graphics:

We have a portable setup ready to go, so we're expecting to do interviews at tournaments sometime in the future. For now, the focus will be on those we can conduct over Skype. It's a lot easier to edit these shows, and audio editing falls into the category of "we're figuring this out as we go," so we're trying not to make it too complicated. I'm not sure why I'm using "we" here, as I'm the only one involved in the podcasts. :)

We're off this coming weekend, but have 5 tournaments in the following 6 weeks. That slowdown for tournaments in summer is going to be needed! Remember to check out our upcoming appearances here. And don't forget - we love invitations to your events! We can't promise to attend all of them, but we do try. At the very least, we'll help you spread the word about your tournament.

That's all for now. Train hard!
