whistlekick Martial Arts Products Warranty Terms & Conditions

Whistlekick, LLC warrants that all qualifying products sold as new via an approved sales channel shall be free of manufacturing defects for a term of 120 days from the date of purchase. An additional 60 days of warranty is available, free, through our Warranty Extension program.
Manufacturing Defects
A manufacturing defect is any damage that shouldn't occur under normal usage. It includes things like retention straps falling off gear, or the seam pulling out of a uniform. It doesn't cover tears in your sparring gear because someone stepped on your foot and you tried to pull your foot out. Nor does it cover using our products in unintended ways.
Approved Sales Channels
Whistlekick, LLC shall only warrant those products purchased directly from whistlekick.com, from Whistlekick, LLC via Amazon.com or from an approved wholesaler or reseller.
New Items
Any items sold as refurbished, used, factory seconds or otherwise non-new or non-first quality merchandise are exempt from this policy. As of the time of this writing, Whistlekick, LLC only sells new products.
Qualifying Items
Anything manufactured and distributed by Whistlekick, LLC, qualifies for warranty coverage.
Warranty Extension
An additional 60 days of warranty coverage are available for customers that enroll their product in our free Warranty Extension Program. This program allows customers to post a photo of their purchase on social media and receive an extra 60 days of coverage, free. Registering Your Product
You don't need to. See, we really would love to have you join our Newsletter list, but we don't need to force you to do it. Simply save your receipt or proof of purchase. Please see below for the exception to this rule under Handwritten Proof of Purchase.
Proof of Purchase
Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. That proof of purchase must clearly show the item purchased, including size and color variations if applicable, as well as the date. In other words, save your receipt!
Handwritten Proof of Purchase
We know that some of our wholesale customers sell products to students with handwritten proof of purchase. Unfortunately, it's really easy to forge these documents later. We require a simple registration of any whistlekick items sold with a handwritten proof of purchase in order to qualify for the warranty. This registration must occur within 30 days of purchase. The warranty extension process does not eliminate the need for this step.
Please email us, info@whistlekick.com, and include the following:
- Use the subject Handwritten Proof of Purchase
- Include a photo of the item(s) you purchased
- Include a photo of the proof of purchase
- Include the name of the school or individual you purchased it from.
Then, we'll file the email and we strongly suggest you also save the email you sent us. It will be very helpful for both sides if you need to file a claim.
Warranty Claims
If you ever need to file a claim due to a manufacturing defect, please email us - info@whistlekick.com and use the subject Warranty Claim. Please include the following information:
- Photo of the product, clearly showing how it failed
- Photo of Proof of Purchase
- An explanation of what's happened
Refunds & Replacements
We reserve the right to request the damaged product be sent to us, at customer expense. If we determine that the damaged item qualifies for warranty replacement, we will replace it with a new or refurbished item at our discretion. Regardless, the remainder of the warranty will be available on the replaced product.
In the event that we are unable to replace the product, we will refund the customer the product MSRP or the amount they paid, whichever is less.
Any return shipping to the customer will be covered by Whistlekick, LLC.
