Nearly 100 martial artists across many styles and disciplines took part in a recent survey aimed at helping to inform the state of the martial arts world today. Some of the data from that survey was released during the State of the Martial Arts livestream that took place on January 29th, 2026.
The information gathered from the survey paints an optimistic picture of both current and future training and experience for many martial artists. The Whistlekick Report is therefore pleased to share the following summary infographic of those results. While a deeper analysis is still to come - and may help uncover more actionable information - we hope that all martial artists will find something of value in this summary report.
