Busy Fall Season Upon Us
Posted by Shopify Post Author on
Just one of the fun, original pieces we put out over social media. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. We're "whistlekick" everywhere! There are days when I take a look at all of the things we've got going on and it's a bit overwhelming. We're planning two events for next year already - one our tournament on April 2nd (stay tuned for more information, but save the date!) and something potentially bigger that we're not ready to discuss. On top of that, we've got quite a few tournaments and seminars scheduled for the final leg of the 2015...
2015 Vermont State Nationals Tournament Wrapup
Posted by Shopify Post Author on
What a busy day! This was our third time at the Vermont State Nationals, and that's the first time we've hit that landmark. See, contrary to popular belief, we don't attend every event. We attend the ones that are enjoyable and make economic sense. This event is fairly close for us and it's been successful the last few years. 2015 didn't disappoint. We saw some awesome work from the demo teams. I have to say, it seems that the demo teams on the IPPONE circuit continue to step it up. I'm excited to see what happens over the next couple...
New Wholesale Site Underway

Over the last few weeks we've been fielding a growing number of wholesale inquiries. During that time we've spoken with new, prospective and recurring wholesale customers about what they want from us. We kept coming back to the same answer - everyone wanted things to be easy. We realized that while our existing wholesale order process had some major advantages, it wasn't as easy as it could be. We're now neck-deep in building a brand new wholesale-only website. It won't be fancy, but it will be simple. We're also rolling out some new ideas that we hope you like - things that...
9th Annual North East Open Tournament

This past Saturday we attended the North East Open tournament in Albany, New York. This was the 9th year of the event, hosted by Master Adam Grogin and Pil-Sung Martial Arts. The venue was the Marriott hotel and the place was packed. More often now, we're being given the option to setup the evening before. That's huge for us, as our booth setup takes several hours. We'd much rather spend those early morning hours catching a bit more sleep and talking to early attendees rather than unloading and unpacking. Thank you to the event for allowing this and we hope...
Bill "Superfoot" Wallace Seminar
Posted by Shopify Post Author on
If you followed any of our social media for the weeks leading up to August 16th, 2015, you knew we were bringing a pretty famous martial artist to Rutland, VT... Bill "Superfoot" Wallace The photos below are from the kids and adult seminars we hosted in conjunction with Alexander's Martial Arts and Twin State Martial Arts. Master Huzon Alexander graciously offered to co-sponsor the event and we used his massive dojo for the day. Special thanks to our other event sponsors, Porter's Karate Academy, Vermont Tees & The Holiday Inn. The event went wonderfully, despite having a brutally hot day...
